Yoga And Eating Right

In addition to making Yoga a lifestyle change one has to practice eating right.  A lifestyle change in your eating habits means changing the way you eat permanently.   Eating the right foods is essential in obtaining a healthy life.  Improving your body, mind and spirit is what yoga is all about.  However, making the right food choices goes with the program.  Some of us are already dealing with diabetes and high blood pressure so we are already in need to make a correction when it comes to what we eat.  


I have been on so many diets over the years.  You name it and I probably tried it, and still I am struggling with the fact of trying to lose those unhealthy extra pounds.  Some of those diets would tell you that you can lose weight just by starving yourself.  Depriving yourself from eating isn't the way to go.  You end up getting sick and moreover you start eating everything in sight because you are so hungry.  I called myself going on a liquid diet.  No food.  I was just drinking smoothies and shakes.  I was so hungry and before the first day was over, I ended up eating everything that I could get my hands on.  I was feeling depressed after that, and I promised myself that I would eat right and not starve myself.


The best way to lose those extra pounds is to eat right.  Be selective about what you eat.  Make sure that you are getting the proper nutrition's that your body needs.  Our body needs certain foods to help us to maintain a healthy being.   






We have to take care of our bodies as a whole.  Yoga is a complete lifestyle change.   Eating right will give you the opportunity to develop a sound mind, body and spirit.  Don't believe those lose weight fast diets.  They will only cause issues in the long run.  Just practice being healthy and plan to eat a well balance diet everyday.  We become a product of what we eat.  If we eat a lot of junk foods, our bodies will produce just that which will cause problems with our health.  We need to eat the right foods in order to feel our best.  This way we can perform at our highest degree.
